How much does it cost to get into Balboa Park?
Yes! Admittance to the park grounds is free. Once inside the Park, explore the rich gardens and trails. The Botanical Building (currently closed) and Timken Museum of Art are always free.One of the very best things about Balboa Park is that it's free to enter. With grounds open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, you can always walk in. Once inside, some exhibitions, museums and attractions do require a fee, but there are still plenty of things to do in the Jewel of San Diego without spending a dime.Currently all of the parking lots in Balboa Park are free. The only time parking is not free is during December Nights. There is also a free tram that runs between several of the lots and the Plaza de Panama, near the location of the visitors center. On busy days, I recommend parking at Inspiration Point (at Park Blvd.
